Happy 4th Everyone!  The kids and I had great day of fun and friends and flags!  My daughter wanted to celebrate America's birthday in style so she wore her birthday dress and hat.  It was too cute!  My son, on the other hand, was not interested and required some bribery to let me take his picture.  But that smirk is so classic and it is a warning of the trouble that will follow!  

My photography journey continues and is full of twists and turns.  I am still in the process of saving up for photo shop so that I will be able to take these beautiful pictures and turn them into master pieces.  I am planning on doing a family photo shoot this weekend and I will be able to post some pictures soon.  

Can I be honest with you?  Since as of today I have 0 followers I am sure you will all be able to keep this secret, I have not been this excited about something since I found out I was pregnant the first time.  It is such a terrifying joy to take this leap!

Well, I got to run and go stalk my children with my camera again!  Hope everyone is staying cool out there!

The Journey Begins...

Well, hello there blogging world.  Welcome to the Journey of January Jordan.  Where I am going... I have no idea!  Isn't that so exciting!  I can't wait to see what the universe has in store for me!
The road ahead is filled with curves that I can't see around, but I am looking forward to exploring what is coming.
My first love is my family.  Coming in a close second is photography.  I am taking this time to begin exploring the world of family and event photography.  I am working with a Nikon d3100 with it's original lens, but I hope to save the money to purchase of a lens with great capabilities.  I am also investing time in learning to use Photo shop.  I hope that this will help improve the final photograph.  So here is where I begin... I can't wait to see where I go!
